Our own Shawn Hutchison was at the Disneyland Resort yesterday for the first day of this year’s Halloween Time promotion, and he reports back to us with a plethora of photos:

Now for a look at Big Thunder Ranch Halloween Roundup (it’s no longer Woody’s Halloween Roundup)

Here you can see the pumpkin carver station, the “Scare-Dy-Crow Shack”, and some cool pumpkin lights

And now for a look at Halloween Screams
The show begins with a just under two minute long “Nightmare Before Christmas” prelude, where Zero appears for the first time
Jack Skellington comes to life on this projection ball and calls for the ghosts to come out and socialize
We then get to hear “Grim Grinning Ghosts” and “This is Halloween” with fire!
Ursula then introduces the next segment
Songs like “Poor Unfortunate Souls”, “Pink Elephants on Parade”, “Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?” and many more are performed in a pop styling
“Well Mr. Oogie Boogie says, there’s trouble close at hand. You better pay attention now, cause I’m the boogieman!”
Then the mistress of all evil, Maleficant, comes in to the thrilling tune of “Hellfire” from “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”
Jack Skellington and Zero then make a return, and Jack invites you to participate in his favorite Halloween tradition, the scream-along
All this happens while we hear a reprise of “Grim Grinning Ghosts” and “This is Halloween”
Guests then exit out to “I Put a Spell on You” from “Hocus Pocus”
Many amazing light shows play on the exterior of Space Mountain
The lights are kind of hard to translate into photos, so you’ll have to go check this out for yourself (along with Ghost Galaxy itself)
